man. lydia. i must love you or something. i've tried to stop writing in this journal 3 times now and each time you always get me to go back. ok here's the deal guys.
i'm in the state department right now. with full clearance and whatnot. working here for just a little over a month now, however, has made me change my mind about where i want to go in life.
i definitely won't ever work for the government after this fellowship is over.
in fact, i'm thinking of moving to the west coast.
either LA or the Bay Area or maybe santa barbara too. and i'm going apply to a few jobs there.
like ROOTS OF PEACElocated in san rafael.
or THE ASIA FOUNDATION located in sanfrancisco.
most of the other places are in the bay area, so that seems cool. plus it seems to me that only cool people live out in the bay area anyways. so that's definitely a plus.
if any of you out there reading this knows any cool places to live in the bay area, let me know.
hmm. let's see. this weekend frayser (that's my boyfriend if you have forgotten) is coming down to visit me. he lives in philadelphia now. ugh. i don't think i like that city too much at all.
i digress.
we're going to 'celebrate' the 2 years we have spent together as a couple this weekend. i kind of hate the fact that i am going to celebrate something as silly as this, but it gives me an opportunity to get frayser to come visit me so what the heck. it's going to be fun. i'll take him on a mandatory visit to the smithsonian or the sackler galleries.
it's going to be cool.
oh and im going to treat him to pizza from pizzamart. it's only the largest slice of pizza on the east coast you can get for 3.50
that's right.
it takes two plates to hold this mammoth.
